We believe your tax data should stay yours. We prioritize absolute transparency and zero-storage for all tax calculations.

1. The "Zero-Storage" Promise

TaxWiz was explicitly built as a client-side calculation engine. When you enter your revenue, expenses, or salary into our tools:

Calculations happen in your browser RAM, not on our server.
Data is volatile and wiped instantly when you close the tab.

2. Information We Explicitly Collect

While calculations are private, we do process the following metadata to maintain the platform:

  • Privacy-Focused Analytics

    We use anonymized telemetry (e.g., page views, scroll depth) to see which tax guides are actually helpful. This data is not linked to any individual user.

  • Contact Inquiries

    If you use our contact form or email us at [email protected], we retain your email address solely to resolve your specific inquiry.

  • Technical Logging

    Standard server logs include IP addresses and browser agents for security and bug detection purposes. These are purged every 30 days.

3. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a UK-focused site, we comply fully with UK GDPR. You have the following rights regarding the minimal data we hold:

5. Policy for Minors

TaxWiz is designed for adults of legal working age (16+) who are managing tax obligations. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13.
